EMHC's, or Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, assist at daily and Sunday Masses with distributing communion under both species (host and cup). This is a ministry in which our Lord in Holy Communion is brought to those who, because of illness, age or chronic disabilities are homebound, hospitalized or in a nursing facility. Any parishioner who is either temporarily or permanently homebound, hospitalized or in a nursing facility may call the parish office (216.731.1515) for this service. Parishioners wishing to bring Holy Communion to the sick should call the parish office. If they are not yet commissioned, they can register for the training.
