Parking
Plenty of free parking close to the festival! Park in the Ss. Robert & William School lot, 351 E. 260th Street. Enter parking lot from E. 262nd Street. Signs will direct you.
Entertainment
FRIDAY Aug. 24: The band Pieces of Eight [http://www.piecesofeightband.net/]gets the festival rocking with their own horn section as they play a mix of favorite classic rock and Motown hits from Bruce Springsteen, South Side Johnny, the Beatles, Chicago, Van Morrison and many others. Show time: 7 to 11 p.m.
Also on Friday, WELW 1330 AM will broadcast their Friday show live right from the festival! Afterwards, the WELW Street Team will play games, give out prizes and interact with festival-goers.
SATURDAY Aug. 25: Don’t miss Rockfile! [http://www.rockfilerocks.com/] This band gets everybody on the dance floor with hits from the ‘50’s to today with a nice mix of country and dance tunes. Show time: 7 to 11 p.m.
SUNDAY Aug. 26: The Don Wojtila Orchestra [http://www.polkas.nl/donwojtila~home.html] plays twice on the final day of the festival, once at the 11 a.m. Polka Mass and then at the Festival until 3 p.m. Phil ‘n the Blanks plays from 5 to 8 p.m. and Midlife Crisis plays from 3 to 5 p.m.
Food
Bring a big appetite because Pierogi Palace will serve a wide variety of pierogis, as well as cabbage and noodles, potato pancakes and other Eastern European favorites. Enjoy a loaded gyro from Nick’s Gyro’s as well as Italian favorites such as cavatelli, sausage sandwiches, chicken parmesan and meatball sandwiches. Of course, there will be All-American festival favorites like hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ ribs, BBQ and baked chicken, bratwurst, elephant ears, cotton candy, Hershey’s ice cream and lemon shake-ups. To top off your hearty meal, stop by the Coffee Lady’s vendor trailer for hot beverages or the Pastry Booth in classroom #1 for homemade bakery lovingly made by SRW Seniors. If you’re too full for pastries, request a take-home box to enjoy later. Plenty of food options will tempt your taste buds. Come to the Festival and let us serve you!
More Entertainment – More Fun!
The award-winning St. Ignatius Circus Company, made up of students, will amaze festival-goers with juggling, acrobats, magic tricks and unicycle riding! Euclid Beach Rocket Ship Car rides will be back, along with real carnival rides and pony rides.
Kiddie Korner: Throughout the festival, the children’s area will be brimming with activity — carnival rides, Euclid Beach Rocket Car Rides, crafts, face painting, pony rides (all three days) and affordable games such as Knock-down-the-Cat, Birthday Wheel, Dime Toss, Giant Plinko and Pasta Smash. Festival volunteers have been working hard to gather prizes, crafts and treats for the Children’s Area. Also, stop by the “Photo Booth” on Friday to capture the great memories you’ll be making at the Festival!
Game tickets will be sold at .25 each and can be used to play the kiddie games, for activities and crafts in the craft tent and for face painting. Please note that some games and activities will cost one, two, or four tickets each. Face painting, crafts and kids games will end at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Most games will have TOKENS for the kids to win and redeem at a Prize Redemption Tent, similar to Chuck E Cheese’s!
Purchase your Festival Tie-Dye T-shirts throughout the festival for $10 each ($8 each if you buy three or more shirts). Also, LED blinky novelties will be available for purchase in the Tye Dye T Shirt tent on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Kids Day ~ Sun., Aug. 26 Every day is a great day to be a kid at the International Family Festival, but Sunday is extra special – it’s KIDS DAY! Jungle Terry [http://www.jungleterry.com/] visits the Festival and gives an interactive show for the kids. Pony Rides, Face Painting and more!

Alumni Mass at 4 p.m. Sat., Aug. 25
Alumni from the former St. Robert and St. William Schools are invited to the 4 p.m. mass on August 25. Call some old friends and plan a night out at the Festival… starting with this special mass.
Polka Mass at 11 a.m. Sun., Aug. 26
You don’t want to miss the 1 a.m. Polka Mass featuring the Don Wojtila Orchestra and Father John Betters presiding. The Wojtila’s will play all musical parts of the mass. You may find yourself foot-tapping and you may even want to two-step your way to receive communion. This special mass reminds us of our unique cultural heritage here at Ss. Robert & William. It’s a special way to give thanks to God for our many blessings!
Roman Feast ~ Sat., Aug. 25
Saturday, August 25th will be a Roman Holiday at the International Family Festival. Pack your toga and join alumni of the old St. William and St. Robert Schools, friends and fellow parishioners for a Roman Feast to honor our Italian saints, St. Robert and St. William. The festivities will start immediately following the 4 p.m. Alumni Mass. Stroll over to the gym and surrounding outdoor areas for an outside Italian café with a trevi fountain. Enjoy a hearty Italian dinner, salad, desserts and beverages for $10 (adults) and $5 (children). Special $1 discount if you RSVP before August 18. Alumni receive their meal for free, as long as they register before August 13th. Extra tickets can be purchased for alumni family members. RSVP forms are due to the Rectory by Aug 13.
Pancake Breakfast ~ Sun., Aug. 26 from 9 am to 1 pm
Sunday morning will begin with a pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Gym. Enjoy hot plain or blueberry pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee for $8 for adults and $5 for children.

$10,000 Raffle, Get Connected Technology Raffle & Chinese Auction Baskets
The $10,000 Grand Raffle Prize winning ticket will be drawn Sunday evening as the festival comes to a close. The Chinese Raffle Auction, with loaded baskets of gift certificates and prizes, will take place at 7 p.m. while the Main Raffle for $10,000 and the “Get Connected” Raffle, featuring a Nook and GPS, will take place at 7:45 p.m.
